2016-2017 President’s Letter

The Loveland Stage Company is doing very well, in no small part due to the amazing volunteers who devote countless hours directing, acting, working behind the scenes, and helping out in innumerable ways.  We are a non-profit entertainment business run for fun.  It is possible to lose sight of that joyful aspect, especially with the many mundane aspects of theater management.  But, it is the PEOPLE of the Loveland Stage Company who bring the most to the group, who ultimately make it fulfilling and challenging.  There is always room for the big thinkers, the risk takers, the folks with energy to spare and the desire to share it on a stage.

I invite you to join our group of Players, to bring your friends along and meet our theatrical family.  The Loveland Stage Company is not bound by any geographical boundaries.  Our primary purpose is to find creative ways to entertain the community and maximize your personal growth through theater.

The 2016-2017 season promises to be another great one, starting with the Children’s Summer Workshop of “West Side Story”, to the Fall production of “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas”, followed by the always entertaining Holiday Show during Christmas in Loveland, and ending with TWO Spring shows: “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and “I love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change.”  Something for everyone!  Come see all the shows.

I would like to emphasize that the City of Loveland has experienced some growing pains this last year, with traffic and parking becoming issues you should be aware of.  Allow extra time to reach the theater and use the ‘Directions and Parking’ link on our website as a guide to parking locations.

Bob Kessler
2016-2017 President LSC
