Each year, Loveland Stage Company recognizes a graduating high school student with its Creative Arts Scholarship. We are offering the scholarship again this year in the amount of $1,000. In order to qualify for the scholarship, the graduating student must reside in the Loveland City School District, attend Loveland High School, or be an offspring of a Loveland Stage Company member. This scholarship is intended to be used toward college or university tuition, room and board, or books.
The Loveland Stage Company wishes to encourage and support young local talent. Therefore, prospective applicants must be planning to further their education in the Creative Arts. Qualifying areas of study include, but are not limited to: art, music, theater, photography, film, dance, and majors that support these studies. Students are asked to submit examples of their talent in their chosen field and a high school transcript demonstrating the ability to succeed academically as part of the application process.

Applications are due no later than Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Hunter Gee, a 2025 Graduate of St. Xavier High School, is the recipient of this year’s Loveland Stage Company Creative Arts Scholarship.
Hunter will be attending Wright State University, studying Musical Theater and Dance. He has participated in numerous school theater groups – Mercy McAuley High School and St. Ursula Academy – as well as being a vital part of St. Xavier’s program over the last 4 years. He has often been a cast member but frequently served in the capacity of dance captain or choreographer for the productions.
Hunter’s involvement here at Loveland Stage Company has echoed that of his in school. He was a cast member in LSC’s production of Big Fish in 2023 and choreographed last season’s Godspell. Hunter will be back in the LSC production family as the choreographer for Something Rotten in fall of 2025.
Hunter sees each performance opportunity as a chance to grow, not only as an actor, but as a person. Here’s wishing you a lot of growing, Hunter, as you pursue studies in your field and beyond!
