SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition

Get ready to dive under the sea! We are thrilled to announce auditions for this summer’s Youth Summer Workshop production of SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition — and we’d love for YOU to be a part of it!

Audition Dates:
Wednesday, May 7th: 6-9 PM at LSC
Thursday, May 8th: 6-9 PM at LSC

Auditions will be in 30-minute blocks. Please plan to stay for the entire 30 minutes. Don’t worry—we’ll make it fun! Walk-ins are totally welcome and will be added to the next available slot. If you can’t make it on those dates, email us, and we’ll do our best to work something out!

Audition Details:

• Open to performers ages 8-18.
• Please prepare about 16 bars (around 30-45 seconds) of a song you love to sing!
• Bring a device (yours or a grown-up’s) with your background track — we’ll have a Bluetooth speaker ready to go.
• Wear comfy clothes and shoes you can move in — there’ll be a short dance portion too.
• If time allows, we’ll also read short scenes from the script (which will be posted online soon).
• Audition forms are available here! We’ll also have copies available at auditions!
• MOST IMPORTANTLY: don’t be nervous! We’re here to have fun, learn, and make magic together. Whether this is your first show or your tenth, we can’t wait to see what you bring to the stage!
