Travel back in time with us to the 1960’s, a time of change, protests, and social reform. A time when words like “far out,” “flower power,” and “peace out” filtered into our vocabulary. Join us for Groovy!, a musical comedy tribute to the 1960’s.
Elected to the LSC Board this year are Missy Fram, Micheal Harris-Kiser, and Becky Jones.
There were two amendment updates voted on by the membership. One was to allow the Board to call special meetings, and the other was to remove language requiring the advisory board to attend at least two board meetings a year. Both amendments passed.
We had another successful year of online voting, with 86% of the membership casting their votes.
LSC would like to welcome the newcomers to the board and to also thank Kate Arnold and Dave Marcus for their years of service on the LSC board.
Anna Colleto, a 2021 Loveland High School graduate, is the recipient of this year’s $1000 Loveland Stage Company Creative Arts Scholarship.
Anna will be attending the University of Missouri, where she will be double majoring in Journalism and Theatre. She has been admitted to the Missouri School of Journalism in the Walter Williams Scholars Program which includes a 5-year program culminating in a Master’s degree and an internship as a freshman with the local NBC TV affiliate.
Anna’s family moved to Loveland in 2016, and she began her 8th grade experience as Belle in the middle school’s production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. While Anna participated in every production at Loveland High School and earned two lead actress nominations from the local Cappies chapter, she also found time to perform with other groups around town, like Acting Up, Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Actors Studio and Academy. She participated in certification programs, like the CASA High School 2-year program and CTC’s selective Summer Intensive and All-Star programs.
Although voice, dance, and acting lessons filled Anna’s days outside of school, as a student she was a member of the Cappies critic team, president of the school’s Thespian troop, part of HOPE SQUAD, and a singer/dancer in By Request show choir. She served as one of two student representatives to the Board of Education during her junior and senior years.
Anna currently works at Starbucks on Loveland-Madeira Road, so stop by and congratulate her!

Once again the Loveland Firemen’s Association has stepped on to the stage.
At the recent City Council meeting, Deputy Chief Mike Books presented Pat Furterer with a very generous check to assist the Loveland Stage Company during these difficult times.
This gift is greatly appreciated and our sincere thanks goes out to this valuable and outstanding organization.
While the Coronavirus pandemic has closed down so many things, Loveland Stage Company found a way to keep theater alive – Radio! While doing our best to keep social distancing and other good practices in place, our cast brings you The Importance of Being Earnest By Oscar Wilde, Radio Style! As in the tradition of old-time radio, we will be releasing each of the three acts, one at a time (July 31, Aug. 7, Aug. 14). The first act is available now on our Current Season page. You can choose the “Radio Only” version, or the “Video of the Radio Show” version. Both are compatible with your computer, tablet or phone! Listen to us on the go!
There are no tickets for sale for these events, so won’t you consider a donation to the Loveland Stage Company? You can donate on line by clicking the Donate button just above the PRompter on the right side of any page on our site. Thank you, and…..
Enjoy the show!
Marjory Clegg dance and tap classes on Saturday mornings at the theater will continue for the foreseeable future. In order to accommodate all who wish to participate, Margie has decided to hold two 90-minute classes rather than one 2-hour class each Saturday. Each class will still be divided between ballet and tap. The classes will run from 9:00-10:30am and then from 10:30-12:00. Sherry Michalak will be circulating a monthly e-mail where participants can sign up for either class. Please remember that all classes will be limited to 10 people and masks are required.
You can make sure you are on Sherry’s e-mail list by writing her at shercasm (at) yahoo.com.
All are welcome! For more information or to sign up, call Marjory at 513-683-6169
