The Loveland Stage Company Music Series returns September 12, with recording artist Kendra Morris. The LSC is partnering with Plaid Room & Colemine Records for this one night only event.
With her fourth full-length album of original material, idiosyncractic singer/songwriter Kendra Morris invites you to join her in the DIY kaleidoscope world of Next. Morris’s latest record for Karma Chief strips away the veneers of layered production and slick sounds to create an album that may be Kendra at her most authentic, one in which the creative process is vibrant, beautiful, and messy, buoyed by heart and the imperfectly perfect now. Next explores Kendra’s perspective with a handheld 8mm kinetic energy, all while showcasing the dynamic, soulful range of her powerhouse voice — equal parts Roberta Flack, Betty Wright, and Minnie Riperton.
Catch a 90 minute set from Kendra and the band in the intimate Loveland Stage Company theater. All ages welcome. Doors open at 7:00 and the show begins at 7:30. Tickets are $20.00 and available at lovelandstagecompany.org/tickets.

The Loveland Stage Company Music Series proudly presents Mid Life Reverie with special guest Katie Burgin on April 11, at 7:00 pm. Join us for a night of beautiful music. Mid Life Reverie is a married duo, Heather and Jen, who formed the band in 2022 to pursue their shared passion for music. With their signature blended harmonies and heartfelt, relatable lyrics, they write and perform indie-folk-rock songs inspired by life’s everyday moments. Their dream? To create a one-hit wonder that resonates with listeners. While they take their craft seriously, Heather and Jen embrace the joy and spontaneity of making music that they hope resonates with listeners and leaves a lasting impression. Their music is a celebration of living fully — at any stage of life — and chasing dreams, no matter when they come.

Each year the Loveland Stage Company recognizes a graduating high school student with its Creative Arts Scholarship.
The Loveland Stage Company is offering a scholarship again this year in the amount of $1000. In order to qualify for the scholarship, the graduating student must reside in the Loveland City School District, attend Loveland High School, or be an offspring of a Loveland Stage Company member. This scholarship is intended to be used toward college or university tuition, room and board, or books.
The Loveland Stage Company wishes to encourage and support young local talent. Therefore, prospective applicants must be planning to further their education in the Creative Arts. Qualifying areas of study include, but are not limited to: art, music, theater, photography, film, dance, and majors that support these studies. Students are asked to submit examples of their talent in their chosen field and a high school transcript demonstrating the ability to succeed academically as part of the application process.
The LSC Scholarship Application is due no later than Sunday March 16, 2025.
Additionally, Loveland Stage Company is offering a one-time $1000 scholarship to a graduating Loveland High School Senior in memory of our founder, Pat Furterer. Besides founding the theater, Pat was very involved in the Loveland community, served on many committees, and was a Valentine Lady. But the Loveland Stage Company was her baby and she acted in, directed, produced, and watched as many plays as she could in its 40-plus years of existence.
Loveland High School has been a part of the theater’s history. It served as its first home after outgrowing Pat’s backyard productions and was a temporary home for the production of The Pajama Game which was in its run when the fire occurred in 2008.
Because of the relationship, the Loveland Stage Company and the Furterer family have designated funds given in Pat’s memory to be used for an LHS graduate who has been involved in at least 1 Loveland Stage Company production and is going into either the creative/performing arts or a community-related field.
Interested students should fill out the Pat Furterer Scholarship Application and return it by the March 16, 2025 deadline. Any questions should be directed to the LSC Scholarship Chair, Theresa Kovacs at ttkovacs4@gmail.com.
