There are a couple new guidelines for the 2021-2022 season so please check out our Guidelines Page for all the details.
Note that the cutoff for submittals is May 31, 2021
Once again the Loveland Firemen’s Association has stepped on to the stage.
At the recent City Council meeting, Deputy Chief Mike Books presented Pat Furterer with a very generous check to assist the Loveland Stage Company during these difficult times.
This gift is greatly appreciated and our sincere thanks goes out to this valuable and outstanding organization.
While the Coronavirus pandemic has closed down so many things, Loveland Stage Company found a way to keep theater alive – Radio! While doing our best to keep social distancing and other good practices in place, our cast brings you The Importance of Being Earnest By Oscar Wilde, Radio Style! As in the tradition of old-time radio, we will be releasing each of the three acts, one at a time (July 31, Aug. 7, Aug. 14). The first act is available now on our Current Season page. You can choose the “Radio Only” version, or the “Video of the Radio Show” version. Both are compatible with your computer, tablet or phone! Listen to us on the go!
There are no tickets for sale for these events, so won’t you consider a donation to the Loveland Stage Company? You can donate on line by clicking the Donate button just above the PRompter on the right side of any page on our site. Thank you, and…..
Enjoy the show!
To our LSC Members, Patrons, and Friends:
In an ongoing effort to keep our membership, volunteers, and audiences safe in this uncertain time, The Loveland Stage Company has made the difficult decision to cancel the following productions originally scheduled for our 2020-2021 season.
Little Shop of Horrors
The Who’s “Tommy”
We are still hopeful that we will be able to put on “Mission Possible” in May, 2021. Please see our Current Season page for more details.
In the meantime, we are actively working on programming that we can bring to you in place of these shows. In July, we hope to begin a series of online performances in the style of old-time radio shows. We hope to have a new radio show each month. They will be posted on our website at lovelandstagecompany.org. We encourage you all to visit our website and enjoy the shows. Please feel free to make a donation to support LSC so we can continue to present quality entertainment even during these trying times.
In addition, we are resuming Margie Clegg’s ballet and tap dance classes at the theater on Saturday mornings. See our announcement below for more information.
That’s it for now… everyone stay happy and healthy.
Marjory Clegg dance and tap classes on Saturday mornings at the theater will continue for the foreseeable future. In order to accommodate all who wish to participate, Margie has decided to hold two 90-minute classes rather than one 2-hour class each Saturday. Each class will still be divided between ballet and tap. The classes will run from 9:00-10:30am and then from 10:30-12:00. Sherry Michalak will be circulating a monthly e-mail where participants can sign up for either class. Please remember that all classes will be limited to 10 people and masks are required.
You can make sure you are on Sherry’s e-mail list by writing her at shercasm (at) yahoo.com.
All are welcome! For more information or to sign up, call Marjory at 513-683-6169
